My first venture into RC in recent history was to purchase an Echo 8 kit about 3 1/2 years ago. I put her together, then got sidetracked by planes. About a year ago I ran across the EBHG and tore her back apart to make some of the recommended mods. (I.E. double frame, CNC Swash, clutched hub.) Just recently I finished putting her back together and finally got a couple of semi-controlled hops out of her in the basement tonight!

I've been drooling all over the shiny new helis at the hobby shop. However, I've made the command decision that I'm not going to allow myself to purchase one of the new ones until I can at least fly the Echo around the pattern. So, looks like it'll be a lot more time with her in the back yard and when the weather's to bad, practicing in G4. Once I can hover and move around a bit, then I'll take her to the field and truly start learning to fly her!
