Status: offline 		i have a dx6i, i am wishing to get a petrol heli but done know if i have enough controls to do this, can i control a petrol heli with only 6 channelsi was looking at getting the nitro kestrel se cheers for any input

Status: offline 		Yea, cyclic, collective, tail, and throttle take 5 channels, an external gyro input would be the 6th, just means no spare channels to do anyting else But what else to do

P.S Do you mean petrol or glow engine?

Status: online 		6 is adaquate.

7 is better, most of us that run nitro or gas (petrol) machines prefer, at some point, to run a governor and that usually requires a 7th channel.
