Status: offline 		Does the Revo 2.5 and 3.3 use the same clutchbells and spur gears? I tried using one of my old TMaxx spur gears and it's a tight mesh and with the BB mount can't be adjusted.

Status: offline 		How old is that T-maxx? Many versions of that truck did NOT have the same pitch of gears, as the Revo.

Status: offline 		I've had my TMaxx about 3-4 yrs now. I want to get the highest # of teeth I can. Also, for a big block engine can I use the Traxxas clutch shoes or should I go with a 3-shoe. I read somewhere someone was suggested to use the Savage clutch and clutchbell.

Status: offline 		Like i said, if thats an older maxx, thats not the same gear pitch as a Revo. If i were you, wanting to go the route of a big block, i'd go straight to Ebay, and find one of the newer T-maxx transmissions, with the Revo spec slipper setup. And the savage uses the same pitch as the Revo, and most other 8th scale RC's anymore. So that again will not work with your maxx spur gear, if thats an older maxx. Which it appears to be.
