Hello Duke:

I will review the pictures we have taken and see what I can do. In the interim, I have forwarded you a "spec" sheet for review under seperate email. Let me know if you have any questions.

Best regards,

This "ususal day" at the factory is obviously staged. Things have been cleaned up for the shots, we do the same at work when a top executives visits us.

I'm astonished not to have seen the inconel casting dept. Is it missing ? Or is inconel casting oustsourced ?

What's more, is there any european service center for the JetCentral products ?

Thanks !

Strykaas ,
Have you been to the factory on a regular basis so you can actually say this is staged?

Don,

I'm with you! Seems like a random stab. Who cares if they posed for a picture? Someone somewhere is doing something similar to what is depicted in those pics or I wouldn't have all these great running engines coming to my door in brown boxes!

Smitty,
What gripes me is if this IS the norm for them and they work hard to keep the factory that clean and then someone who doesn't have a clue comes on a site and says it's staged.

It can't be easy to keep a place that size that clean and if that is how they do it they should be praised for their effort and not slammed by someone who has never been there before.

Maybe Strykaas, has been there before but it would seem strange he's been there enough to make that statement..

This is what a "staged" photo from the Jet Central factory looks like.

Keep in mind, this was the old plant...but it was still "staged".

I can tell you that if the quality of the products is anything to go by, those photos are not staged.
Every turbine we get for our customer show the utmost quality and attention to details..

These things are works of art unto themselves.. perhaps I should contact the Australian National Gallery

Thinking that this is staged does not imply they do not pay attention to details nor that their products are bad quality. Cleaning everything up for a photo shooting is just the usual way to do things. Don't be amazed at the cleanliness...
I haven't been there but I cannot imagine taking pictures of a dirty workbench (which is the case when you're working hard on that kind of stuff) when you know that these pictures will be seen by the whole jet community... No offence intended boys.

St,

You did indeed intend to offend someone with your comments, because simply you have never been there and have no idea what the place looks like. You cast doubt without a single shred of proof and then try to reinforce your comment, while at the same time trying to back pedal out of the statement. Even the old plant work benches were clean. When I went for a visit, it was unannounced (well, OK...they had one hour notice because one of the plant guys had to drive over to the hotel and pick me and my Bud up) and I was impressed.

Until you go and see it for yourself...you should refrain from making accusations since you can't back them up.

There are also European service agents with the capacity to care of all the engines this side of the pond

Hope that takes care of the final part of your question

Rob.
