Perhaps metal-to-metal rubbing causing interference. Check all your linkages, especially your brake rods and insulate if necessary. If this just came on suddenly, do you use a Metal Gear Servo? Sometimes when the gears gets worn and loose (especially from an accident) the servo can cause glitching. Also, check the ON/OFF switch....they can sometimes develop resistance across them and your battery voltage drops. If you tell us a bit more, perhaps it would be easier to diagnose.
