Status: offline 		I have a Optic 6 transmitter. I'm getting back into the hobby after a 15 year absence. For gliders will I really gain that much if I go with a HPD-07RH QPCM receiver? I'm looking at the Neutron 6S receiver for smaller size.

Any Thoughts

Status: offline 		The only thing you will gain with using the QPCM receiver is the ability to program a fail safe preset. Generally the PCM receivers are better suited for heli's and gas ignition engine models. For sailplanes a standard FM receiver is more then adequate.

If you need failsafe but not the expense of PCM then Multilex IPD rx are excellent also worth looking at are shultz and FMA
