G'day i am finishing the build on my wildhare yak and the instructions say balance at 3.25 inches back from the leading edge at wingtip. Is ther any reason for this as all my other planes are measured next to the fuse. Also shold it be measured inverted or does it not matter with the wing type. Thanks fellas

The reason is it's easy to pick the plane up at the wing tips with the help of an assistant. You can balance the plane anywhere on a line between the wing tip balance points, it doesn't have to be at the tips.
