ORIGINAL: zzz12 Help plz took the sea fury up to day .I put full power on her and she jumped around the sky and dropped a wing . Park 480 power. Went to 50% power and flys ok looks like it can not take full power of the park 480 help plz Can you describe a little more about what you mean by "jumping around the sky and dropping a wing?" Is it possible you were getting glitches? I've looked back in the thread and seen your setup, and I do have a few comments. First, are you still trying to use the ParkZone 1800 mAh LiPo? The Park 480, 1020kV is rated at 28A burst current. The 1800 pack is a 15C battery, so it should be able to do 27A continuous. However, if you've done any damage to the pack in the past, perhaps by running it in a model until you hit low voltage cutoff, it might not be able to put out what you're asking from it any more. You could be getting enough voltage drop at full throttle that the ESC isn't able to feed the receiver the voltage it needs, hence spotty rf performance shown by glitches. Maybe you should try a more-capable battery. Second, what's the history on your ParkZone receiver? Did you crash the model it was originally in? Have you done a range check with the Sea Fury both power on and power off? Third, it could be you're getting electromagnetic interference (EMI) of some kind that only shows up at full throttle. EMI can be weird, showing up when you don't expect it. Again, range checking both power-off and power-on is important, especially in this situation. Last weekend I built a Sea Fury for myself (my personal fleet) with a Park 480 and I got to maiden it during the week. I hadn't flown one since last September when I was in China, so I had forgotten how well it flies. Locked-in feel, very fast and aerobatic, smooth and fun. But I flew it using a ParkZone 2200 pack with an unknown history, and when I landed the pack was a little on the soft side. It looked OK after it cooled down a little (it never got hot, just slightly warm) and I wasn't afraid to charge it, which went OK, but I'm not going to fly that pack again in the Sea Fury.
