coming to the experts for advice!!! what would be a good udercoat for candy red. the body is going on xxx-s+g its going to be candy red and silver. thanks for your guys help

not an expert by any means but i would back that color scheme with silver. now if you were just doing candy red I would go with gold, I just dont know how the gold would change the silver if it would at all....

I used candy red over blue and it came out a nice groovy purple.

This is PActra metallic burgundy backed by Tamiya black...but don't use too much metallic burgundy, or it'll wind up like the 2nd picture





same color, but in sunlight

wow, that sleeper is a nice body but wouldnt have picked that color on it... speaking of the color... great way to show the difference a backing color can make!!! those are 2 totally different colors out of the same base can!!! great post thunder!

Actually...it's the same base AND backing. It shows how much of a difference the base layer's thickness can make
