I'm pretty sure there isn't one around, so I may as well start one. For now I'll just put up photos of some of my more recent builds, in total I think I have a little over 100 built kits. I mostly build semis and military vehicles.

My latest one is a 1/35th scale M35A2, painted, weathered and worn to replicate one of my full scale M35s. It's approximately a day and a half long build.

Here are some other builds that I've done or are in progress...

They're really nice

Extremely good job on re-creating the looks.

Saw a few in a store today, was wondering, do they come in Kit form or what.?

Thanks for the comments guys, yeah they come in a kit form and are usually molded from a good quality styrene, but I do believe Revell of Germany and Italeri (same company now) use a different form of plastic that won't work with styrene bonders such as Plastruct Bondene or Weldene (what I usually use as a glue, but what it does it heat up the plastic so it melts and bonds together.)

Some of my models are scratchbuild from raw styrene, such as this 1/25th scale Fontaine Specialized lowboy I'm working on, when finished it'll be similar to the trailer shown below (not my trailer). I'm also constructing the same trailer in 1/14th scale for my King Hauler in steel, I'll cut out the parts with a computer controlled plasma cutter and then tack them together with a welder.

Oh, and I forgot to say, I didn't put the pioneer rack on the M35 yet, and I lost the signal guards so I'll have to make new ones.

Hah, the one on the model or the ones on the full scale M35? Cause I think the ones on the full scale M35 are cheaper than the model :P

Here are a few more...

This one is finished but I don't think I have a photo of it with the skirts and front wheels on...the majority of it is made from raw plastic stock.

Thanks, most weathering I do is with standard dry pastels, I rub a brush in it to create power and wipe the power on the model, and I also use an airbrush and thinned paint. Sometimes I'll use MIG productions pigments but I try to keep those for creating mud.

For things such as grease spots, stains, fuel/oil spills etc. I apply a little bit of acrylic thinner to a brush , put some pastel or MIG power on the brush, and then wipe it on the object. You have to be careful not to put too much thinner, or you'll put too much "wet" pigment on, as I accidentally did on the bumper of the M35. It can be retired with sanding but I didn't bother, I just got as much off with a Q-tip. You can also see the effect on the fuel tank, I should have used more brown than black but it's okay.

For the paint chipping and wear areas, I first spray the vehicle with some kind of base coat, usually olive green or olive drab with a military vehicle, then I dab liquid masking tape on the areas to be "worn". After I'm done painting, I'll scratch around the truck with a screwdriver to find the areas that have been masked, but you can see lumps where masking is more heavily applied.

those are all damn cool, but sometimes it fun to play with what you build.
