If I am not mistaken, I only need the tires and the body to convert my FG ST to FG MT, since i already have the long front body mount, and the rear body mount is the same.

Am I missing something?

yup , but why would u want to go from something that handles half decent to a MT thats very clumsy as rolls/flips wobbles alot ...

You are right, FG ST with baja 5b tires handles like a dream. But I am modifying the body mount so that the body does not rub against the tires. If it is just the body that I need, I can convert my FG ST to use baja tires and MT tires within minutes. That is what I am aiming for, a true all terrain RC.

ST tires for on road
5b tires for off-road
MT tires for crazy off road.

I wouldn't touch a stadium with a long stick, just don't like how they look.

Just another perspective for you, Jas.

i only have one , i just converted the MT into the ST , the reason for the pics is to see how much the diffrent wheel off sets are . i rather the ST , but the MT had huge ground clearance and u could bounce it off anything and the tyres would soak up the shock .

my only problem with the ST is that the tires do not have any traction at all. It is hard to bash off road when you dont have any traction. I put on baja 5b tires on, but now i am having clearance issue with the body.

There are two issues at work here. Firstly, the FG Stadium tires are 165mm, where the HPI Baja 5b tires are 170 (as are the FG Baja's), but also the second issue is offset. The stadium rims are very deeply dished, the 5b rims are not, and the FG baja rims are somewhere in the middle. Might be worth going to a fatter wheel square (wider track width) and FG Baja rims and tires (which look cool as hell on any car anyway!)

i am thinking about grinding down the flat piece in the drive cup, and put the stock square as a spaces, and the FG to
