Some information for you guys with that elongated clutch bell, like on the rxt-1.

I was able to use an hpi savage (regular) clutch bell on it, just need to make sure you use the adjustable engine mounts, you just have to notch a little of the mounts out so the engine can slide a little since the pullstart may be in the way but it fits great, i have an 18 tooth one on there now, i am awaiting a set of wheels and tires to find out how the 18 tooth bell works out but you can also get a 13 tooth clutch bell from us, i am pretty sure the stock one was 10 tooth. i will take some pictures and post them up after i make sure it works!!!

you might also add what the different tooth clutchbells do to performance...and also the need to change tire sizes if needed with a different tooth clutchbell other then stock..this could answer alot of questions before they are asked..lol...great find Eddie

I am "prettY" sure it will work on the RANCHO and other RC's with that elongated clutch bell, will save people alot of headaches!!!!! Best bet would probably be a 13 to 15 tooth, i am sure 18 is too high but i just wanted to make sure it would work, you have to cut about an 1/8 out of the chassis for the flywheel since the engine sits forward more but its worth a little work to have the availability of many different clutch bells available!!!!!

I will post all my findings as soon as i get them

the holes on the adjustable mounts and the holes on the rancho dont line up 100% so a little work would be involved. Thats exactly what i did UD except i notched the mount so i can keep the pullstart on.

I am going to see about doing something with the rancho clutch bells, i have heard about reversing the mount on them but have never tried it, will do that next.
