Status: offline 		Just getting my VQ 60 size Hurricane sorted out. I have about 17 flights on it now. It has a Thunder Tiger 91 FS. Enough power when it is running right. The other day the muffler came loose, but I got it on the ground ok. Today started loosing power and sounded strange. Ran it on the ground and I sounds and feels like the front bearing is going. Havn't taken it apart. Also don't know where to find parts for Thunder Tiger four strokes. Are the bearings in the OS and Magnum 91 FS the same??? I have already decided I'm not buying another glow engine with the price of glow fuel being what it is. But looking at the small gasoline engines, even the 20 size, don't look like they will fit very well in the Hurricane cowling. I have an OS 120 which I am thinking about installing in the Hurricane. Since I had to add weight to the nose, the additional weight is not a problem. I'll then replace the 120 in the Great Planes Stearman with a 26 size gasoline engine.

Anyone flown a VQ 60 Hurricane with a 120???

Status: offline 		Sorry to hear about your motor problems but that is one nice looking bird. You indicate that it has 17 flights on it. Can you provide some comments on the overall quality of the plane and on its flight characteristcs. Are you using fixed gear or retracts?
