I have a weird question ok so my revo 3.3 has 2 gears and you can hear it switch but with my losi lst2 i cant seem to hear it switch to 2nd the thing is the lst2 is flying real fast.

Does the lst2 have a silent 2nd gear change?

any advice much apreciated.

I had the same problem. The springs in the 2 speed were binding. I took a drill bit the same size as the holes the screws slide in and used the drill bit by hand to "clean" the hole and smooth out burs. Worked like a charm. It is hard to hear the LST2 shift while WOT. Try using the throttle gently and you can hear it hit 2nd much easier.

Before you go drilling... See if the two screws for the two speed are at factory setting. (5) Turns out. The LST is much smoother it seems than the Revo. Mine was the same way, did'nt know if it was shifting. by turning the screws clock wise a half a turn from 5 out should get it shifting much later. You want it shifting sometime before the peak of the power band. Never after or you'll lose acceleration. I 've had a revo too and I like the sooner shifting with my Losi. If your ever running on the track you'll know how frusterating it is to feel like your stuck in first gear.

I never said drilling my friend. I said use the bit by hand to smooth the holes! Drilling is a very BAD BAD idea! My screws were 5 turns but upon closer inspection to the inside of the 2 speed shoes there were "burs" binding he springs. Drilling BAD, careful smoothing GOOD
