I plan to gang up two 7955 servos for my rudder. What is the recommended setting for deadband, and what's the pros and cons of setting higher or lower deadband? Thanks for the inputs

Setting the deadband to the minimum setting of "1" will give you the best performance but requires presice matching. Setting the deadband higher will reduce the centering performance but provides some wiggle room if the servos are not perfectly matched preventing the servos from fighting each other.

Mike.

Hi Mike, wih the 5955TG servos, or the latest 7955TG, what is the typical deadband setting used for ganged servos e.g. rudder and ailerons? Thanks

Default is "2" which many people use, but setting them to "1" will offer the best performance as mentioned above.

Mike.
