Status: offline 		could anyone tell me if this type of wheel is nylon or made of the corect material to with stand the hot water of the dye process. I heard if the wheel is the wrong material it will warp, stock LST2 wheels can but I figured I would ask before I ruin them, it takes a long time to get parts over here!

If youre getting the water so hot that it would soften and warp plastic then thats way too hot ! Water turns too steam at 212* ?

The plastic shouldnt start too soften/warp till over 300+ .

Bottom line is they should be fine too dye , just make sure thet all sit in the dye for the same lenght of time or they will have different shades ......

Status: offline 		sounds good, I have never tryed to dye wheels, I know the water should be just starting to boil, small bubbles at bottom and then turn off the heat, please corect me if I am wrong, abd any other tips would help. Justg wanted to double check.

Status: offline 		here's how i dye mine...boil the water, take it off the stove, pour in the dye and then set the rims in the water while it's still hot....the hot water opens up the pores in the plastic and allows the rims to take the dye. I noticed that dying some white rims turns them to a deep purple instead of a pure black.
