If so, how well does it run? I've seen it priced at over $1000. Is there anywhere I can find one thats cheaper? Please, ANY information will be of great value and will be greatly appreciated.

$1000 for any FG is a great price. You won't find it any cheaper except in northern europe where they are made.
Need to clarify though, do you mean the Monster Beetle PRO (which is based on the MT5 Monster truck chassis), or the Monster Beetle (which is based on the Marder chassis)?
This is my PRO (easily identifiable as a pro, by the twin shock absorbers and monster tires)...
As for how they run, they are simply awesome, straight out of the box. Fast and tough. Here is a vid of my MB Pro, when it started life as a hummer, this vid was taken when the car was completely box stock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQHW2SPGb-U

they peform the same..either one their the same..but its has different bodies on each one. my 2 cent beetle rules. Good roll overs
The Monster Beetle and the Monster Beetle Pro are not the same. The monster Beelte is basically a Marder with bigger tires and different gearing with the MB Body
The Monster Beetle Pro is basicalle a Monster Truck with the MB Body. The Pro has the side plates, 8 shocks, etc.
I prefer the MB as it handles better, and is much easier to work on without the side plates.

Here's a pic of the MB chassis. It's a Marder with different tires and gearing and very different to my MB Pro in many ways, although the same basic chassis is used underneath.

The MB pro is faster due to 26cc Zenoah, but the MB handles better, as fgbasher said.
I have to be honest though, I thought the regular MB had been discontinued?? If so, then it's a bit of a moot point. Or did they start production again when they resolved the 'VW' dispute?

I love my MB Pro but really consider it to be simply a different body on an MT and since my MT is Jeep bodied both are unusual. The roll over factor is great as the Beetle body lands on it's feet more often and takes less damage, the down side is it is so much easier to play with that my wife stole it from PBJT and I I also have a Marder and the handling is quite a bit different with the simpler front end. All of mine are newer and thus came with 26cc Zens tho

Do you know if the regular MB is still in production? It's not on FGs site. In any case, an MB with a 26cc Zen should be faster than an MB pro with the same engine, due to less weight, but I'm pretty sure the MBs were supplied with 23cc, as per image above.
