I am looking at getting an E-flite extra, been reading many of the posts and wondering if anyone is using a hacker motor with this one? I would like to know if it would be better then the e-flite motor for performance. Which motor would be best for 3d, e-flite or which hacker?

thanks

I'm assuming you are talking about the 480 sized balsa Extra and not the 370 sized foamy Extra? If it were me I'd go with a Scorpion motor. They are way cheaper and much more powerful than the E-flite. I've got a Scorpion 3008, which is the same size as a 480. It only cost $45 and has more power than the E-Flite.

Hi,

Yes I am looking at the 480 size, I would go with a scorpion motor but you can't get them here in Canada, so it would have to be either an e-flite or hacker.

Are modifications needed using the 3008 on E-flite's Extra 260?
