i bought the lightning because there is some nice parking lots to play in close by.
i soon found out that they where not as smooth as i th ought.
i need to rais it up a little.

i was thinking about wheel extenions and larger tires but i would like some input.
<the funny thing is that i got it on saturday and by the end of monday i've busted:bumper , bumper mount, all 4 rims, and the A frame. lol

You could go with a thicker shock oil or use the little black plastic pieces(I dunno what they are called) that came with your lightning to stiffen the suspension. I don`t know alot about the lightning but this would be a start. With bigger tires you`d loose low end speed, so I`d play with the suspension.Myself I`d try a thicker shock oil and use those shock things to stiffen the lightning up.

Welcome to the 1/10, street world.....................All I have out in front of my shop is cement and those of us who use it from time to time have to go over it and blow off all the little bits of garbage and dirt that collects in order not to break wheels and flip cars from a little pebble.................using foam tires will help a little but they wear fast..........another plus to foams is you can get a taller tire to avoid small obsticals, but the only way to avoid problems is clean it. If you want to have fun on a dirty surface and not break all the time...........Get an ST 2 wheel drive and put some street tires on it.........or clean
