Status: offline 		Just caught the article in the latest issue of MAN - a REAL building project - they guy did an excellent job of scratch building this twin - check it out 80+ WS w/ two OS .32's, flaps, retracts - VERY scale looking.

Status: offline 		I worked at an airport FBO as a teen. Besides fueling and stacking GA, we refueled the airliners. Republic was still flying Convair 580's then. It struck me as a nice looking plane. It has a very distinctive fin. I was unaware that the military flew them. I should have guessed. The article struck a chord with me also. I've always had a soft spot for Convairs.
