Status: offline 		I installed one of the Novak 2 cell Smart-Stop Low Voltage Detection circuits recently since I'm using a MaxAmps 3000mah 7.4 2S battery. I'm having a problem with it though.

When I throttle forward the motor will not start rotating until I'm about 1/3 of the way in. This results in the motor suddenly "catching" and bursting forward at a much higher speed than wanted or needed. I know it's the Smart-Stop because when I take it out and hook everything up normal the throttle goes back to working smooth as can be.

Reverse is fine though (go figure). So have any of you come across this problem? If so, is there a solution?

Status: offline 		Have you tried resetting the Smart stop programming? This will reset the transmitters neutral points.

Here is the section from the Novak user manual.

Smart-Stop ProgrammingSets transmitter’s neutral point into Smart-Stop. ESC should already be set-up &
programmed to your transmitter (One-Touch on Novak ESCs). Motor won’t run during set-up.
With a charged battery pack in vehicle & transmitter turned ON:
Press & Hold the Smart-Stop’s push button (under heat shrink) then turn on ESCs power switch-
-continue holding button until the Red LED comes on solid, then release button.
Go to Full-Throttle position with transmitter & hold until the Green LED comes on solid, then
return to Neutral.
The Green LED will fl ash, then the Red LED will come back on, indicating that the Smart-Stop is programmed
& ready.
