Hi, i,ve got a u can do 46 and i am using an os 55ax as the powerplant. Its had about 30 flights now and i love it but recently the engine has been playing up. After about 25 flights suddenly with no warning the engine starting running rough. left on about half throttle or just below for a few seconds its starts to cough and splutter as though it is rich. ive tried quite a few things like altering the idle needle, cleaning out the carb, changing the plug (although it was a used one).its Probably be something simple but i would apreciate some advice

Make sure all the bolts are tight. IE: head bolts, carb bolts, the nut on the needle valve.

They have been known to loosen up.

We were originaly using 5% then we went to 10% but we ran a tank through before we flew it on 10 and it seemed fine. Also it has had more than half of the flights on 10% and i had no problems it just came on sudenly. Me and my dad are now about to go try a few more things to se if we can sort it. Ill keep you up to date in case anyone else has simular problems

did you check the tank? have you had a hard landing latley? the fuel clunk can get bent inside the tank from a hard landing. the fuel line could have a pin hole in it, and you wouldnt see it. or the tank and stopper, are they in good shape? the stopper can leak air also. when I gett bad running engines, the tank is usually the culpret. very rarely its the actual engine that is having the problem.
