my brother has the 70 twin in his 33% sd models extra, and would like to know what prop would be the best over all. He's running a 24x10 pt prop and like some experienced recommendations before he purchases any more props. Is there a manufacturer that makes 25x8 props?

Whatever prop I have on the bench at home. That's just the engine I'm looking for.

The 24-10 is about right. Try a Biela in the same size.

Hi,

I have 2 of those engines, one on a 1/3 gp pitts and the other on a WH ultimate. I run a 24 x 8 on both air frames. A 24 x 10 is a bit too much of a prop for those engines. Being a twin, they don't have the torque of a 70 single but are happier at a higher rpm. Those engines are a sweet running very smooth twin and have the power similar to a 60cc single. I currently have a 3w 24 x 8 wood on both engines.

Hope this helps

Elson
