Hi we are in the middle of setting a plane up with one of these in it. My Question is does any one have a copy of the manual that they could copy or email to me. Or does anyone know how to setup a kill switch for 1. We have been told it needs an inline switch in the spark line but not wanting to cut a nice new wire up need another solution. looking at the motor and talking with a guy in the lhs it looks like it has an earth wire clip on it we are just not sure if this works or not. It a magneto. please help

On the front of the engine, find two spade connectors....one on the mag and the other is ground.....just hook up a toggle switch between these two spades... The manual is only a small paper folder.....These are very simple gas engines.....mix the fuel at 32-40 to one, and turn on the switch. Without a spring starter, you may need an electric starter. The old 41 is a bit heavy, not great power, set the needles right, and it will still be performing when your baby boy is ready to fly...

The same site also has various exploded parts drawings, etc.

thanks guys.
It does have a spring starter so it should start with ease i here.
thanks eugene i was sure thats what the two spade connectors looked like in the front there. what type of switch is needed and what wire is required. Power should be good as its going in a big cessna 182 and only looking for scale flying so should be right.

Top Flite does have a switch setup especially for this installation, but any medium duty toggle switch with two wires will work.
It just needs to ground the mag to shut the engine down.....

medium duty toggle switch... as in a switch that is used to turn rx batterers on and off? or something more heavy duty than that?
