I just purchased the Redcat racing Volcano Sv and i was playing with it today. and i broke the piece that the dog bone connects to. I have went through my book and i cant find the part or the part number. does anyone know what i need, what that piece is exactly called, and does anyone know a part number so i can order that piece. I believe i can still run it in 2 wheel drive but it wont run with 4 wheel drive

Thanks

What exactly broke??? If it is where the dogbone connects to the wheels the front is: steering arm (#06043) the rear is: rear shaft mount (#06044)

But if you can still drive it, it must be something else. Describe it's location a little better or post a pic if you can.

OUCH!.......that's hardcore! lol. I am pretty sure it is the a drive-cup (#02016) I am at my parents and have no resources....especially with the redcat site down temporarily. Reference the number with your manual to make sure.

Adam.

Not sure.

The new site is suppose to have better pictures and descriptions. but I can only think of one type of drive cup on the volcano with a single grub screw, I think there is 4 of them.
(2 on tranny and 1 on each diff.)

here is a pic. (first one I found.)

That is the drive cup on the pinion of each differential, and should be the one you're looking for.

Honestly, it's hard to tell WHAT you're looking for, with that photograph.

From what I can see in the picture you provided dfield88, I feel safe saying you need another driver cup.
