I need a new servo for my Savvy. What is a good servo for a budget? The stock servo just ain't cuttin it.

Go to the E place and search for MG995.... about 12 bucks each shipped in lots of four. I have been running some for a while, they are not the best servo around, bu for 12 bucks, if I destroy one, I just toss on another. Defniitely stronger than the stock servos. BB

I have also been running the tower pro mg995 servos with great luck. They do have alot of torque and are pretty quick just dont expect precise steering. Great servo for the money. All my trucks are equipped with them and I have not had one fail or break yet.

I am pretty sure this is the one I bought. It's worked problem-free for 2 years now:

Those would be ok for the throttle but not great for steering. The mg995 has over 200 oz/.13 sec @6.0v. And all BB,metal gears. The HT 645 still has 1 plastic gear which is its weak point for steering. Most use it for throttle.

HXT 12k. 7.57. I think it is the same as the mg995.

^^^ You wont be dissapointed. Seldom do I see people complaining about them, usually they are excellent servos. I will need to buy a new set of 4 soon for my T-maxx.

I'm looking at the MG995 as it seems good. But I've never ordered anything from Hong Kong before. How long does that take?

You can get them cheaper and faster from a seller in the states. It took about a month when I bought the first four from the guy in Hong Kong. Do not make the mistake I did, he does not combine shipping for multiple purchases. He makes his money on his shipping costs. BB

Who is the seller in the U.S.? They all seem to be from Hong Kong.
