Status: online 		I have an old 40 FSR and would like to find a gasket set for it. The manual that came with the engine identifies the set with PN 24914009. This is obviously an old PN. Is there an existing PN that cross references to this one? Thanks in advance.

Status: offline 		There would be no cross-reference. We don't have any O.S. parts (except for some screws) that would fit your old O.S. Max .40 FSR engine. Head gaskets, though, are very easily made with a bit of metal shim stock. Use a sharp #11 knife blade to cut it out and then polish it on a good sharpening stone to remove any burrs. Rear cover gaskets can be made from baker's parchment paper. We've even used some card stock in a pinch to make rear cover gaskets.
