Okay, hers the deal. I have a new t-rex 450 se v2 with hs65mg servos on the cyclic, and a401 gyro with a futaba 9650 tail servo. The radio system I am using is the old outdated Spektrum DX6. I am in desperate need of help for seting up the tail portion of the heli. If someone could run me through the step by step instructions of how to setup the gyro and tail servo. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you all in advance.

Set all transmitter trims to center except throttle - leave it fully down. The tail servo arm should be at 90º to the servo. Move the servo along the tail boom until the tail slider is centered on the tail shaft.

Start by setting the gyro gain to less than 50% in RATE mode.
DO NOT move the heli at all until the gyro has initialized and the servo has centered after power-up.

Spin up to lift-off ( a 6 - 12 inch hop should be sufficient) and observe the direction the heli wants to yaw.
If it wants to yaw left, the tail servo needs to be moved forward; if it wants to yaw right, the servo needs to be moved aft.

Make servo position changes in ½ - 1mm increments and repeat the test.

Once you've zeroed in on a straight-tail hover, increase the gyro gain until the tail starts to wag, then back off the gain just until the twitch goes away. The heli battery may need to be unplugged and re-plugged to reset the gyro.

You'll still need to adjust the servo from time to time. This is normal, as the mount will slip a little on the boom from vibrations, hard landings, etc.

Set to Aileron D/R switch to control the gyro (0=Heading Hold, 1=Standard Rate). To set the gain in the Finless video, put both GER settings at 71%.flip the switch back and forth(Aileron) while in setup GER gos from + to - ,so both are at 71%.

Control the sensitivity of the gyro with the Tvl Adj > GER setting in the radio.

I don't know if this will help but check it out. It was for a 9303 radio with a 6ch Spektrum RX but it did work for me.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6933886/tm.htm

Here is what I did so if someone else has the problem they can follow along and test this to see if it helps. Remember this is for a 9303 radio so some changes will need to be made.

Under the SYSTEM Menu first

Device select

select GEAR then RUD D/R then under AUX2 select AUX2 and go to bottom and ACT both Gear and AUX2 I am not sure if gear has to be activated or not I'll check that next time I fly it. Checked it and yes GEAR has to be ACT

I need to check something quick so I'll add the rest in a bit.

In the FUNC. LIST under D/R & EXP set the RUDD to 100% for all three positions if you are using a Fataba 401 gyro, the gyro has a limit pot on it so you don't need to set the D/R thru the radio.

FUNC. LIST under TRVL ADJ.

set GEAR to +60% and - 80% this will be different with each heli but the numbers work good for my TRex, and to set the -80% you need to put the RUDD D/R Switch in the position you want it and oposite for the + side my normal pos for - side is towards the front of radio.

FUNC LIST under GYRO SENS INH is the only thing you need to do here.

I think that is all the changes I made to go from a 7ch receiver to a 6 ch. Equipment used was JR X9303 2.4 Heli radio Futaba 401 Gyro and a Spektrum AR 6200 Receiver.

Thanks again to the people how helped me out and I hope this will help someone else out.
