I'm good at soldering so I don't think that would be a problem. I was just wondering if I was a good ESC because it seams like it's a better deal than a Mamba system.

Im running 9400kv Xcelerin motors and esc's in both my Mini-T and RC18T and have yet to come across any problems. They are both ruffly 3-4 weeks old with id say 15-20 packs run through each. Aslong as you follow the instructions for gearing, set-up, you should have no problems with them. Though i have yet to actually run either truck with a lipo, (other then just testing it out while on a stand. 3cell thunderpower, and man did it scream and pancake the tires) i dont see why it would be a problem. They are rated to run both 2 and 3 cell configurations

In the rc18, i have the factory 6cell 1100(with deans) run times are like 15-20 mins. ive only driven it on the street x_x. it'll see dirt soon

the Mini-T i run with an Orion 6cell 1600(with deans) run times are about 15-20 aswell. and like the rc18, ive yet to drive it on the dirt after i pulled my mamba for the Xcelerin

what gearing and batteries are you using? I've got the 9400kv setup and have burned up 2 esc's within 30 seconds of turning on the rc18. No thermal overload warning or anything, the car just accelerates, stutters, and a puff of smoke from the esc. Both times using the stock 1100mah battery.
