Hi,

The last few times I've ran my car (Hpi RS4 3), I've been faced with an extremely annoying problem. Due to the vibration from the engine, the air/fuel adjustment screw on the carb turns itself completely closed to the lean position. I set the screw back where it needs to be, but as soon as I start the engine back up, same thing happens. What can I do to stop the screw from turning? I need something that will keep it from turning by itself, yet still allows me to adjust it.
BTW, the engine is a Hpi T15.

there are a couple of options.... remove the needle and replace the rubber 'O' ring.... or you can use some thread tape (white plumbers tape) to wrap around the threads of the needle.... if you choose to do this make sure its only on the thread and make sure you wrap the needle so that as you whind it in the tape doesnt unwrap.... a vibration like that can mean your beerings are shot or on thier way out too... hope this helps....

Spring? There's no spring in sight. I think your talking about the idle adjustment screw. That is fine, the spring is still there. My issue is with the air / fuel adjustment screw (high speed needle).
