Anybody have a SWRA legal 400sq" wing mustang, messershmidt, etc..

I don't think a Q40 airframe is scale enough for this class-the rules are kinda vaugue.

Composite RTF airframe perferred

I plan on running a S.T. carb equipped Nelson 40.

Hey turbine guy,

I am playing around with some Pauls Flying Stuff Mustangs. Wing span will be 400 sq in with custom wing. The have a nice wing, but I want to go faster. The kit is glass fuse and built up wing. I am building them for Sac also. I also have a global Spitfire that is 404 sq in and doing a better wing for that also. Give me a ring.....

What the jets got you all tied up?

Global's .25 size Mustang ARC/ARF will work, RC Country has them 400 squares and all. Retracts are easily fitted and they fly fine once you zero the stab incidence. Typical multi-purpose symmetrical airfoil, could be optimized for racing but they work and are pretty cheap.

Globals Spitfire that Kevin mentioned is also a good choice. However these are hard to find but around and are no longer produced. Last I checked Sheldons had a few of these ARF's.

I currently have both models and have used Nelson's with them.
