The only problem I see with that from my point of view is that it doesnt give the rudders a self centreing action when you let go of the stick does it?

They are FM crystals. There are several manufacturers who makes them like Hobbico's Red Hawk brand that work in HL tanks. They're an older design not in much use throughout the rc hobby world anymore.

I follwed up on the Hobbico Red Hawk crystal bu tgot nowhere, bu then found another thread where you had mentioned the same product to another person. It said the item was out of stock but I used the makers name and part number and got here.

Crystals.

Somewhere recently I have seen a diagram of the wiring for the multiplug that goes to the turret. Anybody know where that is please?

Been doing a bit of playing and aquired an FM receiver and a servo, thinking that I could use the servo in the boat to operate the rudders, from the L/R control on the TX.

Connected the servo/battery/crystal etc. but it will not work from a signal from the Heng Long TX.
