Status: offline 		I would really like to get the 7C in mode 1 (instead of the standard mode 2). This means the sticks need to be swapped. i know this is probably just a matter of swapping out the ratchet plate and springs but I have never done anything like this before. Does anyone have experience?

Status: offline 		I'm not positive, but I think I remember reading somewhere that you can ship the DX7 back to Horizon and they'll convert it to Mode 1 for you for a very minimal fee. I'm not sure about Futaba, but I assume the same would be true.

Yea i called about that. Futaba charges $25 for the change + i have to pay $10 to ship the radio to them in the first place, and wait a couple weeks for the service to be completed. If its not to difficult, I would like to do it myself.

Status: offline 		With the Futaba 7C, there is no need to send it in. The manual should give you the step by step instructions. The 7C has selectable software for modes 1 thru 4. just the throttle ratchet and springs need to be moved. The DX7 needs to have different software load, so no user changeable stick mode.
