I have a multiplex twinjet that requires 2 motors.the motors that come stock with the kit are permex brushed 480's.I do not want to hassle brushed motors .Is there an affordable brushless motor out there that I can get for this project.I need x2 controllers as well.I do have 2 40 esc's left from a previous electric so I am trying to find a motor that will function safely within that range.

Remember that you need brushless esc for brushless motors, one for each motor. Nitroplanes.com has some inexpensive motors that would work. Ebay does too.
Good luck
Mike

I lost interest in it so I am going to sell it in ezone this week.twins are alot of effort.I should have bought the twister or funjet.when I go to neat fair I'll re evaluate it.I wish I had the bucks ..I was at a jet rally just being a spectator and stumbled on the the bob vilolett vio jets.wow wow wow..the ducted fan unit ranges in sizes but the whole set up ready to fly will set ya back about 2000 which is alot of electric jets lol.but the peformance is so cool.150 avg.speed.In a dive you with a good downwind several almost hit 200 mph..now thats a rush lol. back to reality though I like the multiplex funjet so when neat comes I may give that a try.otherwise I plant to sell and fund a new 3dhobby plane.. thanks for the info.
