Has anyone tried these yet? They "look" right but I was wondering if they are as good as they look. The price is certainly right.

I asked a similar question a few weeks ago regarding the Zinger pro in comparison to other (more costly) props. Apparently, NO ONE has strong opinions about the Zinger Pros. I've been using them for about 4 months, and they work fine for me for aerobatics and some limited 3D. (My plane is tremendously overpowered, so the type of prop doesn't matter much.) I even had plenty of power using a plain Zinger.

In general, the wood props are light-weight, and spool up quickly.

The price is right, but performance is short.
the menz S will give you the performance your looking for.
for about $5.00 more and about twice the pull without
bogging the engine down or overrevving.
the mejlik's are close but to me a tick less pull, but twice the $
I like the NX also, loads the the engine a little more than the menz S

After you have used a qaulity prop, you then will feel like you got your moneys worth out of your engine.

Reply with your combination and flying style, you should recieve some good answers.

We have had a Pro Zinger 26 X 10W shed a blade recently, and the results wern't pretty.......the engine departed the airframe at approx. 200 ft agl and came to rest neatly in the center of our PAVED runway. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend these props for 3D flying. This occured during a snap roll, causing approx. 1/2 of one blade to seperate. It immediatly shook the engine and front half of the fuse loose, applying full throttle which finished the job. My recommendation? Don't buy cheap props!

SO basically if I take the Zinger pro 26x10 off my H9 Sukhoi/zdz80 combo and replace it with the same Menz Ill be alot happier? Ill notice a big difference?

What about stepping up to a 28x8?

Thanks

The 28 x8 should give noticibly better pull, lower top speed (not needed in 3D flying anyways.) But may be too much prop to spool-up fast enough for hover, or quick recovery type maneuvers. Ought to help doing torque rolls also!
