hi guys, i am running a ta-05 ifs with a LRP GT TURBO 13x 2 and a LRP IPC PRO SPORT DIGITAL ESC, GP 3600 batt. spur gear 115 with 35 pinion. the motor get real hot after 10 min run till the wire disconnects! i try many ways like changing the pinion from 38 to 35, its still hot!. i am wondering if it is my esc problem or i turn the power too high! pls advice! thanks in advance.

With that gearing you shouldn't be overheating. Is your ESC rated for that motor? Also, check your belt tension and make sure your diffs aren't too tight. This can create excess stress on the motor and cause the overheating. I had this problem last race season. I loosened up the belts and diffs and now I have no issues running a 5:1 FDR. With your Current your about 7.3:1 and with the 38 you were still at 6:1. That was about the point I had overheating issues before.
