Time to replace my stock front dog bones. Looking for a good beefy set of CV's I guess they are called. These increase steering? Or eliminate buckling under full steer rather...right? What's a good set ya'all recommend? Thanks guys.

This is for "Project Hard-CORR"

your sterring isn't limited by the doggy bones, you can take some off the hubs and such

there were some pics thier but they went bye bye,

the cvds are said to reduce back lash and be smoother, i know integy makes a set

but not increse sterring

I just switched two of my three over to XL bones, it requires axles, spacers and out drives as well. I am enjoying the new width and there is some satisfaction in knowing that big bone and axle is up there. One of my trucks had cvs in it, I do not know the brand, they have been in there for a long time. I broke a rear cv last year and tried to buy parts, I did buy parts, but the wrong ones. At any rate, if you want a wider stance and stronger drives, that is a great solution. BB

Okay........I noticed when I full steer and turn the drive yoke with my finger the hub kinda binds up a little. I guess shaving this would help. The Cv's help that too right?. Now what is this backlash I keep hearing about?

If I could I would like CV's with shafts like these dogs.

Thanx for help.

have fun finding those, back lash is kind of what you decribed at the right angle these will bind on the cup and catch and well cause not happy wear to and not so smooth driving to occur, if the CVD hub is at the end of the arm and the dog bone end goes into diff cup then yes and from you pic it looks like it, so yes that problem will go bye bye
