Look for a Traxxas receiver pack charger on Ebay. They can be had for $5-$10+shipping.

the Traxxas rx pack charger only works with 1100mah RX packs, IIRC. If you want more flexibility, you'll have to go with one of the higher end chargers (look at spending $30+, but it'll charge your glow plug ignitor, rotostart pack, transmitter pack, etc)

They discontinued the one I use...too bad...but there's a nice Intellipeak one that Tower sells.

I use it with my 1400mah pack and it works fine. It can charge 6 cell stick packs of any capacity, so why wouldn't it be able to do the same for receiver packs?

I second that, and the traxxas charger is one of the best budget chargers around.

Hmm. I was led to believe that it was only set to work with an 1100mah battery. should show me to open my mouth.

I'd be interested to see how well it charges vs my old Pirahna peak charger that I can set and see how full the charge is.

It should detect peak voltage. I don't think it matters what capacity of battery you use.
