I bought one of these and when I get in it is all bound up. It is so tight that I dont think the car will preform right. has anyone else had this problem with the HD tensinor. I have the 90 tooth 48 pitch spur. Maybe I need to convert to 64 pitch?? Is 64 pitch skinnier? Please guys any help will do!!!!! Thanks in advance

hiya

it is normal that your belt is tight, your belt needs breakin in, just like brush motors, cells, etc, your belt needs to be run in, hold your car in the air and apply half throttle and a blip of full throttle, and make sure the tensioner is not too tight in the first place, it will sounds very noisy but will clear up in the end then start tightening the tensioner a little bit

i dont recommand going for 64pitch, if your re a basher or car park racing then stick with 48pitch, all 64pitch does is to increase effiency but its that small, 64pitch is far more easier for the spur to chew up its teeth, even in a crash

hope these help you out
