I current crash a K2 with stock everything but a Blade 400 main gear and 43T pulley. I am thinking about some upgrades.

I already have an ESC, motor, batteries and such waiting to go in. I am thinking about an Extreme CF frame. Which tail should I go with to match it? I am also thinking about a DX7 but thats a lot of money I'm not sure I'm ready to spend. Also, servos. Are the Tower Pro 90's the way to go for the cyclics and the tail?

i've been looking at the CF frame myself....

the Towerpro servo's are pretty good ...use the sg90's for cyclic....and put a sg50 on the tail(it's a little quicker)

if/when you can afford the DX7....DO IT !!!! i love mine, you can program it the way YOU want to fly

I have a DX6i and think its great too. So you have to ask yourself... Are you ever going to fly scale helis or planes??? If so the the Dx7 with the extra channels is the way to go. If not.. then the DX6i is probably better. Bottom line is buy what you can afford today and not buy for the future, as in the last one you'll ever have to buy. As this doen't happen as we are all well aware of.

CF frame is good but what about the head as in a good solid CNC head, good HH gyro etc??? I'd be getting those before the frame.

Anyway... imo

happy fly'n

Im leaning towards a CNC head myself as eveytime I fly My tracking is different. I can go in the air, red is high, land ( no adjusments), take off again, and blue is high. Not sure if its the cheapo blades (ebay 5 packs for 25 bucks) or if my head is worn out. It's been through a few crashes but is still holing its own.
