My friend just got the 770 3D for his Titan. We are wondering what the servo horn should be perpendicular to? The servo case or the tail boom? And should the bass slider to tail case be 4.5mm?

Thanks

When in doubt, the servo horn should be perpendicular to the control rod, no matter the orientation of the servo case.

I got no clue on the distance to the brass slider. The L shaped bellcrank that moves the slider should be perpendicular to the control rod too.

If he follows the instructions with that gyro to crank up the end points till they are maxed out, I'd HIGHLY reccomend setting a very conservative low rate on the rudder and test flying and adjusting from there. I mean, 65 or so each way. At 150/150 my Vibe 50 piro'd so fast I thought it was going to make the jump to light speed.

Haha

BH,

I read your Vibe review before my friend got his 770. We ended up having the ATV's around 90/80 with the Dual rate to around 75%. From what I have read at other websites the ATV controls the left at right piro rate and the Dual rates controls the overall speed for both directions.

I still think it should be holding harder. We're going to change the servo horn length and pot limit. But, we still don't know how it should be oriented.

Anyone seen the Align head on the Titan?? I saw it advertised on grandrc.com
