Hey Fellas,

I bought a 2002 built 40% Carden Edge pictured below and it's in pretty good shape for its age but the covering could use a make-over. I'm not a pro at covering but I'm willing to take a week off of work and dedicate it to covering this baby. Now does anyone know about how many rolls of paper it would take to cover this baby and the amount it would cost is materials to include painting the cowl and wheel pants. Thinking about keeping the scheme the same just change the colors slightly... Blue/White trimmed in Black.

Thanks for any help.

It would take about $150.00 worth of monokote and about $350.00 worth of painting materials.

Looks good to me, I'd leave it. Alot of work and cash to recover. I scratched built a profile plane using 40% Carden flying surfaces. Thought that I'd never get done with the covering.

That a awsome profile... My covering look ok from a distance but up close it is pretty rough on the surfaces.. as far as the fuse, that in pretty good shape. Think I'll wait til the winter to strip it and recover.

Thanks. I would wait until winter also. Enjoy the good weather while it's here.
