If the idle is to high does it do anything apart from increase the temp...Sinc ei like to keep the idle so it idles high, starts easy and idles well.Is there really in preformance decrease or anything since in the manual it does not says,i know the clutch shoes will where a bit more.
Also im thinking of getting alloy shoes, howlong do they last around?

if you maintain you clutch shoes they'll last a while

and i found that if you get it tuned well you can get it idleing fine and starting easy, but it won't mess you engine up cuz its just going a bit faster thats all

http://www.rc411.com/pages/quicktips.php?tip=58

that should give you a bit of info

and you need to lean out you LSN a bit to get more off the line this way your not running lean up top that'll give you the punch down low and the high top end with out destroying you engine
