How is the nose wheel attached?? Does it have a bracket or is it directly into the wood? Mine is in a bracket)

A picture would help considerably.

I'd epoxy another piece of wood behind the firewall and use longer screws. Then glue back the piece that's been ripped
or cut a nice square to replace the ripped out section to make it look cleaner or so the bracket will mount flush.

another option is to get another engine mount with nose wheel holes in them.

Never the less I'd re enforce the firewall either way.

I would advice you to support the fire wall with 8 triangular gussets with epoxy to the inside of the fuselage. If you can draw the diagram I will be able to tell you exactly what to do.
