I have a P-70 in my BVM bandit arf , with less than 5 hours on it, and my problem is that the starter motor waits 12- 15 seconds before it starts to run for cool down. When finish a flight I remove the engine hatch and feel the bypass, it is only slightly warm, then I shut down and the starter motor doesn't go into cool down mode for 12- 15 seconds, in this time you can watch the paint on the bypass blister from the heat, I have redone the ceramic heat shield paint three times now due to this concern. I just got the engine back from JetCat ,it was supposed to be checked out for this and they said nothing was wrong ,it must be my installation ???????. They also installed Kero start and updated the ECU. My installation is fine, and has been looked at by BVM himself. I just want to know why it waits so long to run the starter motor to cool down, My friends Titan goes into cooldown within seconds. My high temp reading from the ecu was 851 degrees!!! Any help welcome, tired of painting!!

There has got to be a setting for this somewhere, I really thought that JetCat would have addressed this problem when I sent my engine to them 2 weeks ago, I specified in a note exactly what was happening.
