Status: offline 		I purchased a new OS 46 AX from my local hobby shop over the weekend. I didn't realize until after I got home that the remote needle valve, while neato, does not suit my needs. Is there a replacement carburetor available for the AX that will put the needle valve back where it belongs... on the carburetor? The remote needle valve does not work with the mounting setup I was planning on using, and I really don't want to change that around, as the firewall is already drilled.

Status: offline 		O.S. doesn't have a replacement carburetor for the .46AX that has the needle valve mounted to it.

Status: offline 		Since that's the case, how far from the carb can I mount the remote needle valve? Mounting it on the back of the engine is not an option at this point. I have tried every possible way to re-mount the needle to the backplate, and nothing will work. I don't want to have to return this engine, but I will if there is not a reasonable solution.

Status: offline 		You can mount the needle on the firewall or nearby. Too far away and you'll have a lot of lag when you adjust the needle, and you'll likely have fuel pressure problems. No more than a few inches is OK.
