Hey guys, its time to upgrade the gt2 I think, I have a gt2rs rtr and I'm wanting to race it but I don't think the stock engine is up to the job, I was thinking about an O.S .12 TG, but I'm completely lost on what pipe to get, this is where I need your help, I don't want to spend over $60 for a decent pipe, header, springs etc. So what would be good for that price?

Thanks
CPR

The factory team smooth pipe? It looks like its discountinued though.

I did race the gt2 stock twice but I was getting outrun on the straights, plus I HATE pull starts.

More help needed. I'm looking for a high performance steering servo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd like it to be no more than $60 if possible, around $40 would be great, anything out there? I don't need it to be super high performance just something that will be an upgrade from the crappy stock one.

Also could I just take the pullstart off my stock engine and then use a starter box? Thats what I would like to do as I think with some tuning I could be competitive with the stock engine, I wouldn't be the only guy thats doing it at my track. But the problem is I don't know where I can find a backplate for it which I'm pretty sure you need to successfully operate a starter box, anyone know where I can get one? Thanks

I may have found it, would this work with the stock engine? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAGC3&P=7. Would I need a new crank or anything?

Still looking for a servo though...
