Status: offline 		I bought a Ofna Hyper PBS 1/8, PCR edition 3 years ago(early 2005) I at the time paid $800 for the card plus other upgrades and my bill reached nearly $2000.
Recently I decided to sell it and was hoping to get at least 40% of my money back. However i was very misleaded, first by my own ideas about how much a buggy can hold its value. I put it on ebay and it got sold with all the stuff that come with it for a mere $320. Have RC cars during the last 2-3 years fall down in price a lot or I just got $uckered by an ebayer? Thanks

Status: offline 		I thougt their value dont go down that much considering that i never used my buggy. Back then the price of any new and decent buggy was $600+ and now there are many on ebay for sub $300 new!!!

Status: offline 		you gotta remeber that today, a used vxl with batteries could be bought for around $300-$350, and thats a fast vehicle. for (the %40 of the 2000, being) $800 some one could get a brushless revo or emaxx at least.

i got a used rustler vxl with rpm upgrades all-around, bigger tires, tons of spare parts and a venom 3s lipo for just $235. it would have cost me $600 to buy every thing new.

Status: offline 		The simple fact is that you can buy a new Hyper 7 "RTR" (still need some field equipment) from Tower Hobbies for $310. The Hyper 7 PBS "RTR is $399.

Aftermarket parts help sell faster, but don't raise the sale price substantially.
