Lars: Yup that's the lathe I am talking about..Like I said I have not seen those in 30 years...My work area is the
kitchen table..So I am limited to what time I have to do my work..When I take the miss's to work for the day or
in the evening to work on my Firehammer....As I am retired..So all is ply time for me..AKASlawhammer

A little update here too.I was in a automotive shop some days ago and saw this flexible aluminium hose, and i suddenly found out where to put it!It is meant to be used as an pre heater hose between manifold and airfilterbox on 1/1-cars.So now the engine gets a bit cooler and fresher air. Some pics here too of the 9000 mAh battery,i made it to fit both the Capri and Focus

Long time since update now,but i have some future plans to put a diff in it as i have one complete from my MarderFocus which i can use.Have to get some bearingholders to take care of the diff, these have to be 12 mm as this is the outer dia on the diffhousing.Have also bought a new axle to do the conversion,i have to make longer shafts for the gears as i have to have more width on the transmission

HI!I am fine,how are you?

Thanks a lot!
So you didnt know about my little project here?I only have pics from my project,no videos sorry.I have big plans for putting in a differential in it now,and maybe a little simple suspension setup too.The engine is a 45 ccm chainsaw from Jonsered.

WOW!100 inches? That is a long one(the girl said )Do you know anything about the weight of the dragster?I dont know how high the displacement of the engine is before it is 4 stroke, guess you want a 2 stroke.Take a look around at the different brands like Honda,Husquarna,Jonsered and similar, and see if you can find some technical info about their engines

Use one of the chinese 50cc water cooled pocket bike motors also known as a Blata clone engine, you should be able to pick on up pretty cheap these days and make good hp approx 7-10hp

Sorry for late reply! here is place in New Zealand who sells them you could check on ebay! Although the exchange rate to Euro it would be quite cheap even with shipping!

Thank you,thank you!
Them?Do you mean the money? Not much of these, financial crisis in my wallet for the time being As for the car,its not much that happens.I have a plan, but i dont have a lathe to realize the plan with Well,i can borrow a lathe but then i have to take a day off from work and go to where i worked earlier I am planning to put in a differential and make a simple suspension system at the rear, but no other plans than that.As i have mentioned earlier im doing some lights on the Focus now,so that is what consumes my time now

I use Futaba 3PK radio and receiver for this car,and also for the MarderFocus. They share the same frequency, but i have two different programs on the radio with different adjustments for each car, this is a fantastic radio in my opinion!

Some news,i have made a new frontbumper for it!I was at IKEA the other day and found this gorgeous, jaw drapping, lovely and last but not least grey bread slicing board (or what you call it)!I have been looking for this for so many years now,and by a coincidence i saw this when i was walking there through the kitchen department with (behind that is ) my girlfriend pretty bored and tired of shopping. This was worth the whole day I have seen a lot of white ones, but not this grey one.
These are very tough and durable, and seems like they never will break, hehe.Had to use two to get the right width on them,so i had two handles left over from when i cut them.I thought i might as well use them for a rear bumper,as it doubles as a nice handle. The front bumper is lighter than the other i had before too, even without holes in it.
