Hello everyone!

I have a quick question about fuel for my Raptor 50 V2. Since i started flying i've been using CoolPower with 20% nitro and the engine's been running just fine. Today i was going to order some more fuel, but my Hobby shop was out of Cool power 20%, and only have 15% (the green stuff) or 30% ..(and 30%-LS?). So my question is, what fuel to use now? 15% or 30% ...which one works best, without having to tune the engine too much.

Either will work fine. It depends on the style of flying you do if you are just hovering and forward flight get 15% and save some money if you are flying aggressively and doing some 3D then you should switch to either 25 or 30%.

Thanks for the answer, i think i'm going to try out 15% then. Not doing so much 3D, just hovering and flying around.

Don't want to step on anyones toes here but I've been flying 15% cool power for 2 years now and I do pretty much everything from mild 3d to hard 3d and haven't found the need to switch to 30% yet. Sure the extra oomph would most likely to be nice but my flying style is not stick bangin but more like smootly going from one move to another so....

aaaah more "cyclic management" lol. I too would love to be able to carry out my manouvers using 15% but my flying style has little or no finesse as yet. I guess you could say I am a stick banger. I do try to be calm and collected but sometimes you go the wrong way, panic sets in and before you know it you've got full cylic, full neg pitch and then full pos pitch, the enginge is getting slower and slower and it all goes horribly wrong. I'd say if you're just starting out with 3D, spend the few extra pounds and get 30%, for re-assurance if nothing else.

Is there any difference between the CP 15% Aero and the CP 15% Heli ? i checked the morganfuel-site and it says:

"No there is no difference. At one time there was a difference between the 15% aero fuel and the 15% heli. Originally the heli fuel contained an anti-foam additive and there was a slight difference in the lubricant package. Now all of our fuels contain anti-foam and working with Cliff Hiatt (former World Champion) we discovered that the aero lubricant package worked better in the Helis so now both formulations are the same."

...But i also asked my hobby shop and they said that the Heli-fuel had some secret ingredient? But know it seems like they're just tryin' to screw me over. Just wanted to hear what all of you know/think about this?

The thing is that they don't have 15% Heli in stock, just 15% Aero...The only Heli-fuel they have is 30% which is way more expensive. I think they're tryin' to milk me for more money.

I am using some basic 3d, I am using 15% and I would like to know if switching to 30% would help to have more power...... it seems so! is there any DISADVANTAGE of using the 30% instead 15% besides the extra bucks??? any reason to stay with 15%????
